[Aquaria at the final of Ru Paul’s Drag Race]
Faced with a very hot Brighton Pride one year, I was decided I needed a fan to match my outfit.
I was inspired by Aquaria’s ‘Miss Vanjie’ fan revealed during her final episode lipsynch.
So I made my own – with a pink fan of course. Unfortunately the sharpie marker went through the paper fan and stained by office table with the lettering. Top tip: nail varnish remover helps!
The Vanjie Fan was very popular and spurred on others to make one too. I still use her today.
